In-the-Ear (ITE) Styles
Invisible In-the-Canal (IIC) — The smallest custom hearing aids available. They sit in the second bend of the ear canal and are nearly invisible to the naked eye. Designed for mild to moderate hearing loss.
Completely In-the-Canal (CIC) — Fits deeply into the ear canal. Slightly larger than the IIC but still very discreet. Suited for mild to moderate hearing loss.
In-the-Canal (ITC) / Half Shell — Positioned in the lower outer ear bowl. Accommodates directional microphones, volume controls, and larger batteries. For mild to moderate hearing loss.
In-the-Ear (ITE) / Full Shell — Fills the entire ear bowl, supporting enhanced features and controls. Serves mild to severe hearing loss.
Behind-the-Ear (BTE) Styles
Mini BTE — Designed to hide behind the outer ear with ultra-thin tubing to the ear canal. Offers natural, open-fitting sound. For mild to moderate hearing loss.
Receiver-in-the-Ear (RITE) / Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) — BTEs that have the speaker built into the ear tip rather than the hearing aid body, resulting in a smaller device. Designed for mild to severe hearing loss.
BTE with Earmold — Sits behind the ear with a customizable earmold that fits the ear. Can accommodate mild to profound hearing loss.
